music ministry

Chancel Choir

“Sing a new song to the Lord! Sing to the Lord, all the world! Sing to the Lord, and praise God! Proclaim every day the good news that God has saved us. Proclaim God’s glory to the nations, God’s mighty deeds to all peoples.”      Psalm 96:1

The Chancel Choir helps lead our Sunday morning worship services. The choir sings every Sunday at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services (don’t worry, you don’t have to sing in both services), at special concerts, at church music programs, and at missional outreach events in nursing homes or assisted living centers.

Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Peals of Joy! Handbell Choir

The three-octave handbell choir is for adults, college-age and older. The group rings occasionally during worship at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. and provides missional outreach performances at assisted living centers, nursing homes, and elementary schools.

Rehearsals are  held every Monday, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Melody Choir is for grades K-6th. We meet on Sundays at 3:00 p.m (August through Easter). We do many performances during the year, including a Christmas play, Easter musical, and sing special songs during services throughout the year.
